We imagined a world where giving is a part of everyday life. 


What if the power to make a positive impact on your community were in the palm of your hand? What if you could give back right at the moment you’re inspired? Those questions are at the core of dailyKARMA’s mission. We believe that giving back on the go can be simple, social and easy.

For our TEDxLA City Experiment we challenged Angelenos to turn their selfies SELFLESS by joining our Impact Pledge. Throughout November users received challenges ranging from giving 50 cent donations to posting content for their favorite organization through a free iOS & Android app.  Charity partners  SBCC Thrive, BFLA & WSFB engaged their communities to join the pledge. Could we encourage people to give back more frequently?   Would they engage with an app because it allowed them to give back more easily?

The answer was a resounding yes.  Not only were people donating to their favorite charity, but 70% of users continued to donate to other organizations. Citizens of Los Angeles had not only taken our Impact Pledge, they followed through on it.  

Overwhelmed by their positivity & action, we posed another question: “What inspires you to give back?”  We were blown away with what they had to say, which you can see in the video above.

At dailyKARMA, we believe that small change can drive huge impact and that everyone has the capacity to give.  Our Impact Pledge not only proved us right, but also provided a voice for others to share their passion for the community.
