A multimillion-dollar e-commerce and brick and mortar retailer, Faherty utilized Shop for Good’s tools and seamless integration to put charitable giving at the forefront of their business model.

Faherty’s existing CSR centered around environmental stewardship and sustainability in their products and business models. For the next step, Shop for Good made it possible for customers to donate while purchasing and see the direct impact they and Faherty were making.

The partnership capitalized on the opportunity to highlight their existing partnerships and community-building strategies.

With Shop for Good, Faherty was able to increase customer engagement and increase awareness of other charitable giving they were engaged in, including donation-matching for several separate causes.


  • Faherty launched a 2-week Earth Day campaign on their website with Donate for Discount, giving shoppers 20% off if they donated $10 to the two selected charities.
  • This raised $3,300 in donations and was a marked increase in participation from previous 20%-off discounts.
  • 14% more shoppers completed their purchase at checkout with this Shop for Good initiative.
