In Mexico, over 400,000 children are living without parental care.
These children are forced into a daily struggle to simply survive. The care, medical attention and education they receive is minimal. They live in constant uncertainty and are targeted for abuse, child labor and human trafficking.
For the approximately 30,000 living in orphanages or shelters, the struggle takes a new shape. The state does not provide funding and therefore it does not exercise oversight either. That leaves the children vulnerable. Shelters can become a black hole. No one knows what educational method is being used…and what further damage is being caused.
That’s why Create Purpose exists.
