Do Good Bus promises altruistic adventurism by bringing people together to help local causes in a fun and social environment. During each mystery event, Do Good Bus strives to create awareness for local causes, create community amongst volunteers and prove the power of working together to make a difference. On a Do Good Bus Ride, our first goal is awareness. There are hundreds of causes that help our city, our neighbors and our friends and the mission is to show people how to support these causes. Secondly, our team truly believes in the importance of creating a community and what better way to make new friends then to ride together with like-minded folks and have fun while giving back. Lastly, we hope the Do Good Bus experience will inspire passengers to do good again – at work, at home and in their community. We are based in Los Angeles, CA but have partnerships that allow us to host rides across the US.

One Voice began in 1982 as an outgrowth of a sociology class taught by our founder, Dr. Susan Silbert, at California State University, Northridge. After the class (five of whom are current board members) turned their final projects into a holiday food drive for 70 needy families that winter, the desire to keep helping others was ignited, and thirty years later we offer an array of programs designed to ease the suffering of low-income families in Los Angeles. The mission of One Voice is to provide goods, services and opportunities to the underprivileged, including everything from crisis intervention to long-term programming that lifts families out of poverty, while providing avenues for the rest of the community to become involved in helping families in need.
